putting music to iphone4

hey all i have downloaded some albums to my laptop how on earth do you get them onto my phone because itunes aint allowing anything to go over?
surely i dont have to buy all from itunes? :(

donna, were these from your CD collection?
if so, all you had to do was plug in your iphone and the albums should have gone into your library, if not, make a seperate folder for them, drop them in then go to iphone library (on line) then add folder?

how do you get the folder online? x

go to documents the new folder, you can call it Donna's music or anything you want, go to where your albums are then select all then drag and drop them into the named folder, this way you know where they are before logging into itunes
