Can you give us an example of what you mean?

Music can be represented by letters A,B,C,D,E,F,G
or doh-ray-fah etc.

i want to send a birthday card to a person who i know can read music , so could i , is it possible , to say write happy birthday or happy fathers day in music?

No because musical notes don't go high enough to represent the letters you need... no H, P, T or Y for a start.

Why not send him the score but not tell him what song it is?
