I have an ipod shuffle, and would like to buy one of the new Nano's. I've also just passed my driving test and my car only has a stereo that plays cassettes.(its a ford fiesta)  I was going to buy a new stereo to play cds, but is there a cheap way i could play either of those ipods through the stereo i already have? becuase if i'm going to buy a nano, and then a new stereo on top of that, i'm going to be forking out quite a bit of money!! thanks for any help you have! x

You need something like this or this or this or any of these.

Try

www.ilounge.com They have many reviews and suggestions for these situations.  You can also get an FM transmitter that tunes through your radio - No wires!! Unfortunately they are illegal in the UK because strictly speaking you will be broadcasting without a licence - Even though they only transmit a few metres. Hope you find what you need.

Thanks guys, i thought it might have been something like that. Wicked - you've just saved me a few hundred quid!!
I bought an FM transmitter for my Creative Zen on eBay.  As usual some people selling them in the UK were ripping people off with inflated p&p prices so I bought mine from the USA, total cost WITH p&p was about 15.
The cheapest way to use the iPod with ur car can be found in the following web site : http://www.tangshop.com/mp3-fm-transmitter-usb.html using this you can play music and charge the iPod simultaniously ! Am sure u can find anything cheaper that this.

I've just bought one of these on e-bay for 9.05 (incl shipping).  Don't know what it'll be like, worth a try I thought!  Here:-  Thingy  !

dont bother they are ***** and being recalled!
