US Comedy Show "Action", help required please

I remember this show about 3-4 years ago. It was on ch4 late 11pm-12pm ish. It was about a film producer/actor who was a real jerk but real funny, in a kind of Johnny Bravo way. He was totally self obssessed and shallow but very funny. I think it was called Action. Does anyone know what I am on about?
