Can you hook up the Roland TD-20K to your PC and send sample sounds to the brain which sends it to the pads. So you can use it for production and it just being more flexible. I know the brain holds thousands of sample, but just want to know if u can hook ti up to the PC and do it like that.

The brain has 50 drum kits, if you have a memory card you can created more blocks of drum kits by customising every pad. These blocks of 50 kits can be loaded one at a time.

You can by an expansion card which fits into the bottom to also allow more sounds.

You can connect a midi cable to your pc and through the use of a software program e.g. cubase/logic etc you can then trigger and sample you want on the PC

However I don't think it's possible to load your own sounds on, I haven't seen a way :)
But the onboard sounds are so varied and you can eq and customise each one so I doubt you really need to anyway!
