How do I find out value of bracelet?

Hi everyone :)

I have a bracelet that was given to me by an old lady about 20 years ago, it is silver and has egyptian symbols cut into it all the way round. I think it is very unusual, I can't find one like it and I was just wondering if it might be quite old and worth something. How do I find out?

hi caj1 take a look in your local paper sometime auctioneers do a free valuation of stuff you know pottery,pictures and jewellry and general stuff...well they do here in stoke anyway...

Any reputable jeweller should also give you a valuation (for a feee). They do it for insurance purposes.
