"CHEERS" DRINKS QUIZ - WEEKE PRIMARY SCHOOL ASSOCIATION.
Good afternoon everyone! Just wondered if anyone else is doing this quiz at the moment. I feel sure that I've got all the right answers (sorry, don't mean that how it sounds) but there are at least 7 that aren't the right number of letters and a couple which I think they have got the answers wrong. Please put me out of my misery and let me know if you are having problems or AM I JUST THICK?!!

Sorry NazNomad. Maybe this was confusing. I don't actually want any answers. The quiz only ends 26th April. I just wanted to know if anyone else doing it was having the same problems.
All I can say to help is I have completed first page except for number 19 and have not experienced any letter numbers incorrect.
Not looked at second page yet.
Hope that info is of some use.
Did you have queries on the first page?

Hello Straven. Only got two wrong number letters on Page 1 - Nos 15 and 31 (which they might not know the Irish version has an 'e' in it). All the others are on Page 2.
Yes I would agree about the missing e so have just spelt it the scottish way.
for 15 I have Dionysus which appears to have the correct number of letters if that is of any help
Any ideas on number 19 for me please
Still to start 2nd page

We'll get there between us!!! I thought 15 was Bacchus.
19. It's the bright one , it's the right one, it's MARTINI (you must be younger than me!)

Just checked - Dionysus is the Greek god of wine and they want the Roman one which is Bacchus - All very confusing (Perhaps they'd had a few wines when they compiled the quiz!!)
Kustard - yes I did google both names and in some sites there did seem to be a bit of an overlap between the two names , so just went for the one with 8 letters, maybe put little note in with quiz when sending back saying if answer was meant to have 7 letters the answer would be Bacchus.
Now looking at second page, Did yoiu have a problem wiith wrong number of letters on Q.65.
That's as far as I have got so far

I'm back - a day later - but always WILL get back to you.We will be putting a few notes in when you get to some others!! Yes I think 65 should be 7 letters but I think 50 should be 9 and 56 should be 10. No problems with these two?
I too have answers with 9 for no 50 and 10 for no 56. Maybe there is time for the setter to confirm, or otherwise. I am enjoying doing the quiz.

Yes Giobate I am enjoying the quiz too. It's a quiz in itself working out how they think. Have you done 82 yet? I am going to bore you to death with my tale about that one!!P.S. Have you left our select little Cheers group, Strathaven? Love Kate
Yes, I have done 82. I thought at first that we had been given the wrong number of letters. But I found an answer which fitted the clue. Best wishes.
I think the letter count for clue 50 is incorrect. I think it should be 9 rather than 8. The setter has admitted that the number of letters for clue 93 is wrong.
Clue 95. How on earth are we supposed to get the answer into the little space provided?

Hello Giobate,The boring tale of 82!! Whilst looking for something else on the net, I stumbled on a quiz that someone else had set about drinks and about six of the questions were given in THIS quiz. The answer to 82 had been given by someone as Brook Bond (spelled wrong, it should be Brooke Bond). If it was Brook Bond that is the 5,4 in our 82. As it is definitely Tetley that had the little perforations, I am wondering if the setter got these questions off this site and did not check the answers. Have I lost you, yet!! I said you'd die of boredom if you mentioned this one to me!!!

Hello DSJ. We've got four members now! Glad you've confirmed 93 was wrong 'cos I had 8 letters. As far as 95 was concerned I thought Rotam (as opposed to Stuffam)
and wrote it so small you can't read it!!! Cheers, Kate
Hi Kustard. I really enjoyed this quiz (despite errors!!). Can I be 5th member please?
