I was wondering if there is anyway of finding out if permission has been allowed for the use of working premises. There is an open space next to us which is used for about four different separate things and I was wondering if this is allowed or if we could find out information to do with permission for work use.

Your local council retains records of all applications for planning permission whether these are granted or not. You can consult the records at their offices free of charge but, if you want any photocopies, they'll probably charge something outrageous like 5 per page!

(If you live outside of a metropolitan area, please note that the relevant body is your district council, not the county council).

Hoping this helps,

Thank you for your reply, I will speak with the local Council and see if the businesses have permission to trade from nextdoor.
