Hi people, I am a biology graduate way back 2004. Upon graduation though I tried finding laboratory/research jobs appropriate on my field of study, unfortunately, I wasn't able to find any. I ended up as a medical transcriptionist and for 3 years now I have been holding the same position. Problem is I am no longer fulfilled with my work, I don't see myself doing the same thing in the years to come. I can't leave my work just like that coz its very hard to find a job, I need a replacement for it first coz im funding my brother's studies. Going to work has been much like just a routine for me and I am never even thrilled of getting to work everday. I would really love to pursue a research career but how best to proceed. Hopefully, you guys could give me on the possible options. Btw, I am from the Philippines. Thanks.
