Ok...

Incase folks are wondering and or blaming me for his departure from the site (apparently he's decided not to post here anymore) I thought id set the record straight....

No, i didn't report his initial vicious comments aimed at me, though i did report his barbed snippy comment he posted later in the day, i believe I reported it under stupidity with the text that he was a prat.

I did tell him to F off in my thread, but that was AFTER i'd asked him, if my thread was boring to him, to leave it well alone.

He did not offer any constructive advice, medical or otherwise, moreover he saw it as an opportunity to have a dig at me. This is the second time he's launched an unprovoked attack (the first was when he was having a dig at my unmarried pregnant, as she was then, daughter)

We've never been keen on each other, at best we tolerated each other, but I for one am sick of his attitude towards me and other users who somehow don't match up to his standards. I'm also sick of the way he then covers up his attitude by claming it was just a opinion which ge's entitled to. That doesn't wash when it's feelings of other others he's trampling on i the process.

Am I glad he's gone/going? yes!

The only thing that annoyed me was him presuming that all men cheat. Which is untrue...

Hahaa...starbuck you are a star .He's in his seventies I think . I have brothers his age and older and would be absolutley mortified if I thought they were leering at and being suggestive to young women on the internet .

I'm not a prude but I've found some of the things he comes out with a bit distasteful .

It may well all be tongue in cheek but he's a member of the medical profession .So it's a bit difficult to take him seriously when he's doling out Iboprufen on the one hand and looking up someone's skirt on the other .

Looks as if it depends on how old you are sara. If you are over 70, or over 80 (like me) you are then considered beyond it. However according to what I have read, the enjoyment of sex can go on all your life. Why it should be considered dirty in old age but not when you are young I do not know. My own sex life ended when my husband died, but I still think of him often, although I have no desire for anyone else. So why should thinking be considered sleazy? Perhaps you could explain shaney, unless goodnight means you are off to bed. Answer quickly, because that's where I am going very soon.

Starbuck, I think you're misreading this. the comments relate to Sqad's lewd and distasteful and inappropriate (in my opinion) comments.

I sincerely hope that everyone has a fulfilling sex-life until they pop their clogs.

I just don't want to hear lewd sexual comments from anyone, really.

Because he never talked about having a sex life with his wife, he talked about his many 'affairs' and was quite graphic about other female users on here. The way he spoke would've been sleazy regardless of his age Starbuck (although the fact that most of the women he leered over were barley half his age) - it's the way he viewed women that was sleazy.

I remember saying something to him once about his reputation and he basically said - Don`t take any notice of me, I`m only joking- something along those lines. I don`t believe the half of it as far as affairs are concerned. It was all just his AB "persona". Men who have lots of affairs tend to be much more discreet (I work with enough of them)!
