its a philip larkin poem
They *&%* you up your mum and dad
They don't mean to but they do
They give you all the faults they had
Then add some extra just for you
But they were *%£* up in their turn
By fools in old style hats and coats
A poem by Philip Larkin mountainboo.
I've always like his optimistic, cheerful, tone
