Years ago i think kids did a lot more to help out around the home.
my parents had their homework to do and chores as did i and my kids
but not as much as i did, freedom was a privallige not a right back then i think.
What facts are you basing that on zzxxee?
Question Author
no facts just an observation
Question Author
when someone states " i think" it usually means an opinion not a statement based on facts

It's just a general feeling I'm sure Umm.

It is the desire of the previous generator to want better for their child - and to moan about it when their children get it!

In fairness however the culture gap between the "old" and the "young" has increased massively.

For example, when you were a nipper do you think you (and your parents) had anything like the current levels of screen addiction to deal with?

the school the local authority want my son to attend has no playground. it would be difficult to burn energy in the fresh air with nowhere to do it.
Question Author
no playground in a school omg how do they expect kids to let off steam ?
Far worse......lack of parental discipline to blame
