I thought my post would get removed. I was never and have never mentioned by name the Care Home which inflicted the injuries on my Mum.

Been in to see her today, Jem. The Care Home she is in now is lovely, but it still breaks my heart when I see her. I always come back and cry my eyes out.
Question Author
Jem - I am trying to send the photos to you via email, but as usual my connection is playing up again. I keep pressing the 'send' button, so don't be surprised when it gets its act together, you may get millions of them hahaha....
should know by now den the elite few on here can say what they like the rest of us nowt!!
best wishes to your mum xx
You faught soo hard to get her out of that other place & now she's there in that lovely place it must lift your heart but yes I can understand that the reality of it must hit you after visiting and tug at your heartstrings, You are normal Den you are your mothers daughter enjoy the thought.

Night-night. - Jem
Question Author
bernie - you are so right with your observations.
Question Author
An explanation would have been nice though.
DEN, please continue to keep us all in touch. It's a way for you to let of steam and we are here to help.
I didn't see the thread though. Take care x
I just wanted to say, Den i have followed your story of your mums horrfic treatment in one care home, to her eventual move to another.
You have come across as a doting daughter , who always has her mums safety and interest at heart,. Ive worked in care homes before and have seen first hand the frustration families go through when facing, situations they are not happy with. God bless you and your mum Den and i'm so glad she is somewhere where she is getting the care she deserves , and where your happy with xx
Hi Den, what was the name of the thread?

We definitely didn't remove it because you "Might name the care home". They may have been other reasons?

Question Author
Lotie - I put a link to the photos of Mum's bruising she sustained in the old Care Home - never mentioned the Home and never would and never mentioned Mum's name, but obviously it was not allowed on this site.
Perhaps the photo thought to be too upsetting DEN. Did the whole thread get removed?
Question Author
Ed - The thread was just 'Photos' on CB.
Question Author
Lottie - I won't be writing about Mum anymore on here - perhaps I am coming across as a bit of a whinger...............and that is so not me.
Hi, just seen the photos. They are quite graphic (unfortunately) - I understand why the Weekend Ed pulled them. Clearly a quite close call between leaving them and removing them. Sorry Den.

Also, Bernie: "should know by now den the elite few on here can say what they like"
Nonsense. Why does everyone think there is a conspiracy? It's an odd assumption!

Hi Den, please do not stop updating us on your Mums progress, you know we care. As for the photos I entirely understand your reason for posting them as a salutary lesson to others who may be experiencing similar.

I can only guess that either the weekend Ed thought them too distressing or worry that if they are to be used in a case against the home then would be best kept offline?

Take care and keep us in the know. ♥
Question Author
So Ed - is that why my post was removed - the photos were too graphic. I can accept that, and am sorry for offending anybody.
DEN - I see no need for you to apologise. I think your poor mum's story may stay in the mind of many an ABer should they ever need to choose a nursing/care home for a relative. I really wish you every success in taking this matter further. ♥
