Apologies micmak - this was open in another tab, and I hadn't submitted it :o(
I elected to work past retirement age - little knowing how many health issues would worsen at this time of life! However, I still enjoy my work and like to bring something to it that others can't - me! (aka dame formidable). As with most folk, some days are better than others, but I can only decide which sort of day I have had when I retire for the night, or, in my case, early morning! Each day is special though and I am grateful for all of them. I am glad you are making the most of your early retirement. I believe I should do what I can, while I can, with whatever I have. So long as I can pay my bills I am happy enough <shame about the price of Courvoisier though ;o) > ♥
