Can anyone advise as to the best method of having an occupational pension, which is currently paid into a UK Bank, paid into a bank in Spain.

Most banks charge around �20 per transaction for sending money abroad.
You could have the pension paid into a Nationwide account which won't charge you for using foreign cash machines (then withdraw the Euros in Spain without charge).
