I couldn't remember what category we were posting in when you recommended this book ummmm, but I have bought it (arrived this morning). I have so far only read the introduction and the chapter on chicken, but I have already decided to become a vegetarian. Has anyone got any hints about this as I assume I would be doing without protein or something like that. Incidentally, I really hate nuts, so I couldn't eat them, but any other hints would be welcome. Apologies for anyone who says I am posting in the wrong category - they are probably right.

Thanks ummmm, - quick reply. I am not supposed to eat shellfish (very high cholesterol) so I avoid anything like prawns. Even if they aren't shellfish, I don't think I would bother, so no is the answer to that question.

bednobs - thanks for the suggestion but I have very high cholesterol (am on the highest dose of statins they can give me) so I am limited to the amount of cheese and eggs I can eat. Although I still eat a small amount and shall think of the fact that they are protein while I am eating them.
is that "hand cut"chips with your "bed" of salad?
