Why don't some people post their gender on their profile in Answerbank?

How can we know how to speak to them? It's different for either sex. If they are gay they could put whichever side they favour and no-one would know, but for goodness sake put something instead of leaving me wondering. I suppose they could be both. Perhaps their should be a 'take your pick' line.

I think your avatar could well be either sex.... Admittedly if it was a bloke, it may not be quite so sexy as it obviously is now.
