Can anyone tell me the title and author of this book? I had it in the 70s, it was a hardcover picture book with stories of a dog and a mole - the dog and mole starred in separate stories, not together.

In one story, the mole gets stuck in a milk bottle and gets washed up on a beach where he makes friends with a crab.

The mole stories were later animated and shown on Sunday mornings on TV-AM's kids' slot in 1983.
