about a fiver
I don't think they would be worth much. There must be still loads of coronation memorabilia floating around, dating back to Edward VII in 1901. The mugs were never used for their intended purpose, often being stored in the china cabinet so many must have been handed down through the generations.
You're lucky Daisy........I was dressed up as Sir Gordon Richards and my sister was Little Bo Peep.
Who is Sir Gordon Richards.
A famous jockey of his day.
Oh dotty!...............a fiver!|.............more than I expected!....I will leave them in the store cupboard then!..............lol...............
The 1953 Derby occurred on a week of great national, and personal celebration for Richards , as he became the first, and so far only, jockey to receive a knighthood.
Craft, you have made my day!
