you mean as a single traveller but part of a group? Depends very much on the individual trip, but I've had good escorted holidays with Thomson (20 years ago, to Morocco), up to people like Kuoni, which are at opposite ends of the price spectrum. Luck of the draw and hard to predict, I'm afraid. You could perhaps ask the tour operator about the age range they expect on any given holiday, but that won't really tell you if they'll be good company.

A really good company is Travelsphere, they have a singles brochure they will send you if you log onto their website.  Have had many trips with them and always a mixed bunch of people from all walks of life.

Ive just got back from a holiday with www.explore.co.uk - We were in a group of 17 and 14 of the group were travelling alone.  Have a look - great holidays!

I have enjoyed holidays with both Travelsphere and Explore, but think the 'single traveller' option with Travelsphere is better because you are guaranteed to be with only individuals.   Everyone really took an effort to get to know the whole group and there was no awkwardness with sharing seats on coaches or at meal times.   My Explore trip was good but had quite a few couples on it and only two singles so we ended up being 'thrown' together more than I felt comfortable with.
