What is the Grauniad up to now. It has reprinted the crossword we did just before Christmas. Has anyone got an edition this morning which is different?

The one I downloaded this morning has a long Scott quotation, is that the same as the pre-Christmas one?

Another Grauniad boob. As K. says the online version is an Araucaria 'Prize crossword No. 25,220'. Guess this week's competition will be declared null and void.

I must admit I have never seen this one and having searched the archives for Auracaria, cant find it either. Was it a special?
Anyhow quite enjoying it.

The quote is atributed to Thomas Mordant in the ''Verses written uring the war 1756-63'' in both the penguin and oxford versions!!

I have one by Paul - 25194 - so some editions must have the correct grid. Between that and their pathetic book prizes they really take the biscuit.

The one on-line is different from the grid and clues in the printed paper which is an old repeated one from before Christmas. Perhaps they'll give two sets of prizes!

Completely agree that the prizes are rubbish, mustn't be able to afford a decent small prize(say£50)? Pathetic!!!!
