why is David Cameron not quizzed very loudly on the tax loophole that allows Philip Green to get away with it when DC takes time from his busy schedule to make sure ER keeps her noggin on the stamps?

oh silly me, maybe DC or some of his cronies take advantage of the same loophole...........

I think the problem is that Phillip Green has been named special advisor to the Government on Austerity and spending cuts.

Meanwhile he is throwing extravagant parties in Monaco and running around the Med in multi-million pound yachts.

This is while David Cameron is telling us "We're all in this together"

Nothing illegal - just rather...

as if ???
someone who follows the law when it concerns their tax affairs, which is exactly what philip green has done, is not a tax avoider. they’re just good at looking after their money.

of course, this at the expense of the state, but given the chance we'd probably all play the same game.

If he, and his like continue to avoid paying tax in the country where they made the money in the first place then maybe we should do the following:-
1. withdraw all public services from his shops (ie no rubbish collections, etc)
2. withdraw all public money from his employees (eg sick pay) because he would find it hard to keep employees or recruit new ones.
Ah yes, state blackmail and extortion, always a good idea!
Great Labour idea I Don No....put all the employees of his UK empire out of work.

His company pays millions in tax to the treasury.
I take advice to arrange my affairs such that I avoid paying more tax than necessary. Everything is within the law. I also give money to charity in the most tax efficient way. What's the problem?

Nothing illegal - just rather stupid from a political perspective
I've heard George Osborne isnt adverse to a bit of tax avoidance himself.
