What Are your views on Putting a 2 yeAr old in day care?

I have to put my daughter in one, but all the stories of child abuse etc is putting me off!

Am I being over the top? Just you hear all sorts of stories and I'd never know if anything happened due to my daughters Age!!

What are your views and if any mums out there put their babies on one, what do I look for before picking one?

"all" the stories? How many daycare facilities do you think there are compared to how many stories you hear?
If you have to put her in, surely what anyone elses views are are irrelavent? (actually aren't other people's views on how you bring up your daughter irrelevent anyway?)
You definately want to look at any daycare you are thinking about. Is price important? is the number of children that attend improtant to you?
