Telly is blank

Our LG tv is completely blank of any picture(even the digital graphicy stuff for the guide etc), i'm currently listening to 'the chase'. But dad's looked on the website for stuff to do to fix it, but nothing's working.

And yes, we've turned it off and on again!

There's nothing different to it than yesterday, we've had it over a year BTW.

Try pushing the scart leads in the back of the tv as sometimes they can become loose.

We've got the tiny tv from my parents room in here now. We're used to a 42" and now we're watch something which is no more than 20"!

is it tuned to the correct ext....check the remote

Its definitely something to do with the remote -happened to me but I just kept pressing buttons until something happened.
Failing that -assuming its Sky you'll need to phone them for techical support -i'll get the number if you want.

We don't have sky properly anymore. We used to but stopped paying so we get to lots of freeview, the one built into the tele and the one we can still get from the sky box, but we hardly ever use that as the quality isn't as good.

Make sure remote has good set of batteries in it.

Well we have the same set up in Spain and its either AV/Ext1/Ext2 we choose so may be something like that.

We could change the channel but now we can't. But the remote's working, the light on it flashes when we click something and so does the light on the tele.

did you check the Ext1 Ext2 & AV.....give us a piccy of the remote

Dad just unplugged the dvd player (tried unplugging and replugging everything) and it's working now, it's a mystery, we've had the dvd player longer than the tele . . .
