Now I know that, inexplicably lots of people watch them, but surely the story lines are getting ever more desparate in their batttle for the sub 85 IQ viewers. Is it time to move them after the watershed? No other program with the content of modern soaps would get on before 9pm. I haven't actualy watched an episode for over 20 years but I've seen plenty of trailers and the papers report it as if it's news. If I switch one on by accident It's like getting in a bath that's too hot and I desparately reach for the remote! Anyway I have nevr accidentally happenned upon something nice happenning so are they all doom and gloom? Why do people watch this drivel?

If you follow that line rowanwitch, everytime you wanted to talk about say, singing artists, you'd have to say " did you see Harry Webb or Pricilla White or Reginald Dwight on the TV last night". I don't think so.
// sub 85 IQ viewers. // Are now getting B and C grades in their GCSEs and are therefore considered average and this is the rubbish they enjoy. If you dumb down the educational levels then everything is diminished with it.
