I bought my shih-tzu one of these for Christmas and she loved it. Only problem is that within a few minutes the squeekies either end didn't work any more and now she has lost interest. She is nearly 11yrs old so not a puppy. She hasn't chewed through the toy so I am a bit dissappionted with it. At £9.99. I think it was a bit expensive.
Anyone else buy one for their pet

I'd never heard of them before so went to the JML website. They seem to infer that it is a long lasting toy.

As you say you have a small dog (small jaws) and she isn't franticly playing with it like a youngster. I would expect the squeak to last a bit longer than one play.

Get in touch with them and complain.

I have had to hide some of my cat's presents from Santa (my brother) my boy cat was throwing the mice down the stairs and racing up and down with them. Then his sister wanted to play and there was a massive punch up. They are just like kids - but cuter.
We've stopped buying presents for the cats. There are two long-standing favourites - the whip on a stick, and some stuffed felt fleas (about 4 ins long) with catnip in them. All the rest are ignored. Rover's favourite is a piece of dressing gown cord that we have to throw about for him every night before we go to bed.
I remember when Max was a pup, about 12months old .I bought him a rubber chicken len leg which was described as "Viirtually Indistructable" It lasted about 10 hours
