Hi i usually go a1 past meadowhall over woodhead pass then follow signs to chester then birkinhead then my destination but will have to go m62 but dont want to go straight into liverpool so can anyone tell me where i need to get off m62 to pick up signs to chester then will be back on my normal route, got sat nav but keeps sending me through liverpool, leaving in morning so maybe too late to ask but worth a try .

Leave the M62 at Jn 10, onto the M6 southbound (signposted 'Birmingham')

Leave M6 at Jn 20A, onto the M56 eastbound (signposted 'North Wales').

Leave M56 at Jn 15, onto the M53 northbound (signposted 'Ellesmere Port, Birkenhead').
