My guess is that it won't go back to being entirely blonde. Try washing it in washing up liquid a couple of times. There are other questions similar to this further down. Consult those answers. Either that or do an Edward Scissorhands and get choppy with some scissors and hope your hair grows quickly!
No, leave it. Find out if it is true that blond people really do have more fun. In the time it takes you to wash your hair 28 times you should find out. Report back her after this most interesting and necessary sociological experiment.

Seriously, though, you probably just got an immense shock when you saw that dark haired person in the mirror. Laugh about it. Invite others to have fun about it. Don't take it too seriously, and if after a week or so, when the novelty has worn off, you can decide if you are going to let it grow out or not.

If it is a semi-permanent, rather than a temporary wash in-wash out colour which simply coats the hair, then in my experience it's going to take a lot more than 28 washes to come out completely if you've gone darker, if at all. Semi permanents contain a very small amount of bleach that strips some of your natural colour out so that it can be replaced by the new colour. Hence, the colour locks in very well, especially if your hair is naturally light. I used to find though that an anti-dandruff shampoo helped speed up the removal process.

Well I kinda need it to have it come out by the time school starts which is August 19th. When it come out I'm bleaching it white. Is it possible to bleach it white even if it's dyed black right now???
Get that washing up liquid out girl! It strips the colour. I'd say that a white hair dye probably wouldn't work too well, especially on hair that has just been dyed, you are supposed to wait at least two weeks or so between dyes. Think of the damage you are doing to your hair!
hmmm, it might not work, but try to stock up on shampoo, and wash. over and over and over. if it doesn't work, try maybe washing your hair at the begining and the end of the day.
I dont think i understand. You have naturally blond hair. Buuuut...you dyed it black, any reason behind that? and now you want to dye it white? huh? btw, if you wash your hair too much it will make your hair really dry, all those natural oils n stuff. yeah...

I dyed it black cause I was trying to find somethng color that would look creepy (no im not gothic) and black was just boreing and made me look like I had acne real bad, so I wanna do white now..... I think I'ma just wash it like 10 times a day, I really dont care if it gets dried out lol.
well you got your self in quite the mess! it is never going to wash out and good chance it wont bleech out either even with the help of a professional colorest! here is why. blach hair color is not a real hair color found in nature, even african americans dont have BLACK hair its really the darkest shade of brown. the only people on the face of the earth who come close to having black hair are native american indian. that said the color molicules are made differently to make black coloring. they end up staining the hair even temporary hair color wont budge some times. so your best bet is to let it grow out and than a short hair cut. and for future reference if your blond dont go darker more than 2 shades on your own you need to have your hair filled or you will get spotted results and end up with odd color tones. i just love all you home hair color people your making me rich fixing all your disasters.

I am bleaching it out >_< lasy night it was orange and now its almost normal blonde, and it still isn't the least bit dry lol
Jewstar, all you had to do was shampoo it 4 times when you took a shower in the morning, and repeat the process at night. that way, you would have had a week's worth of shampooing, and in a few days you would have noticed the difference. unluckily, we like immediate results for everything.
Neutragena (sp?) makes a "stripping" shampoo for exactly this situation.

I tried washing it like 5 times everytime i bathed and nothing was happening
Hi Jewstar. You don't say if your hair is in good condition to begin with, as if it isn't in good condition and its in fact porus the dye will stay much much longer.
wish i could have saved you some heartache...if you'd have bought John frieda's sheer Blonde shampoo (available at walmart or cvs) it would have faded the color in no time! If your color is blonde/orangey now,you need to use a base color of something ASH blonde on top of it.it will counteract the orange and just make it blonde. In the meantime..go to a salon, and buy nexxus emergencee,it is a small bottle for about 15$ but will put your hair in healthier shape. Also...for future references,go to a BEAUTY SUPPLY store in your area and for god's sakes buy a protein filler. mix it with the hair dye next time your color and it will keep it from becoming dry.trust me,a hair stylist let me in on this secret and I will never dye my hair without it again! It also ensures great color every time.
I recently messed up my naturally dirty blonde hair with dark brown hair dye...its a mess..red on top greens on bottom...DONT DYE YOUR HAIR...ok...seriously...what do I do to completely rectify this situation?  I am thinking of putting this dark blonde on it now with a protein filler, neutral...is this a smart move?  I already did there rinse tonight to remove the red which it didnt do...which came from the hair color removal kit I used to remove the brown to start with!
