A friend of mine has an app. called Shazam on his phone, I was amazed that it recognised both the title and artist of a really old song that just a tiny bit of was played into it. as I do not posess a smart phone I was wondering if anybody knew if this was availlable for computers?

There is a phone number to dial for Shazam where you play the song down the phone and it texts you the name of it. The number is something like 25852 but I will try and find it and check.
It's 2580 apparently.
Yes 2580. It costs a bit of money but is very useful in a pub quiz.

Be aware that it doesn't work with classical music though.
