Does rubbing half a lemon or orange straight on the zit help the skin at all? My friend does it and swears by it saying that the Vit C can work directly on the skin. Personally i think that the acids will damage the skin. Who's right?

Was going to say what Prudie has just said. I would think that a lemon or orange would have an astringent affect on the skin and be quite good for greasy teenage spots.
I guess everyone has there only little techniques. I use occasionally toothpaste and I'd swear to it working. I think that the orange or lemon won't really damage the skin as much as you might think. Many people also use it for beauty treatments.
