What funny thing has your child said about Father Christmas.

We took my grand-daughter who is 2yrs 3months to see Father Christmas but he wasn't there till later in the day as it was late night shopping.. We explained to her that he is very busy this time of the year so we will have to come back another time.

She said." I expect he has gone for a cup of tea with his friends". As you can see, she speaks extremely well. but it made my day. She is funny.

My Little boy (5) told Santa that I often refer to santa as "fatso"!
after the laughing Santa says naughty boys don't get presents, my little boy said "don't worry daddy you can half half of mine"

My daughter and I were in a shopping centre a few years ago and Santa came up to talk to her. He asked her if she had been a good girl and asked what she wanted - all the usual stuff. But as we were walking away he shouted - I hope your mum's been a good librarian too. Now I'm not a librarian but I do work in a library and for just a split second, as my daughter turned to me wide eyed, I thought it must be the real Santa!!! I found out later it was a customer :)

"Grandma did you know Santa is a thief,,,XXXXX at school told me he is , coz he opens the front door and comes into the house when we are in bed asleep"

Funnily enough, tonight my just turned 7 year old said that when he was 3 he probably thought that me and his mother just gave the presents at Christmas, but now that he's 7 he understands that it's Santa who brings them.
