I am not a religeous person. Of late I'm not even a Christmas person. I thought Christmas was about the birth of Jesus, not about who spends the most money on gifts that no one wants. Getting in to debt that will stay with you well into the new year. I am not Bah Humbug, even though it may sound like it.

It was a few weeks ago Naz and went along the lines of "When did you break the news to your offspring that santa wasn't real". Oh the abuse I got was unrepeatable! Lol ;o)

Ena, I love your words of wisdom. Goodnight and keep well♥
Thank you micmak, the same to you and Mrs mm ♥
When I was young there was nothing wasted. What didn't get eaten on Christmas day was fried, casseroled, minced, etc and used up in the following few days. Because I was brought up like that, I still go on doing it, even better now that there is a freezer. I hate waste and cannot understand why people throw away what can be used. My waste food bin is never used, except for thin cardboard, which the recycling men also collect. When the food is prepared if there are any peelings they go in the compost bin.
Tigger, was it mostly from people that still think he's real? :-))
Yes and Santa himself.
hahahaaaa ... I'm gonna lace his milk with Tramadol this year ... THEN we'll see who's ho-ho-ho-ing.
You're gonna put Frankie Boyle in his milk? Thats going a bit to far now.
... lost me.
Ah, gotcha ... don't watch him. Billy's the only funny Scotch (ooh, that'll rile 'em) person.
Neither do I. His sense of humour and material is very offensive and even though I'm not easily offended I draw the line at him. Not really a Billy fan either.

Anyways, I'm off. Night :o) xxx
Christmas is actually nothing to do with the birth of jesus, it is a holiday that the christians 'stole' from the Pagans.

i think everyone should be given the space to do what they want and not be judged whether that's going mad just once a year, buying on a budget, focussing on the religious meanings, I think people should relax more but people who are not fans of Christmas should not loudly express their moans in public because they are ruining other peoples Christmas joy with their negative comments,
... but overpowering people that don't want to celebrate xmas with sickening goodwill and happy-happy-joy-joy is ok?

It has to work both ways, surely?
well I think for me personally, I know the folks who like Christmas and those that don't so I tone things down with the people who don't, its like a on-off Christmas joy slider switch
Sweet ... I need one of those at the end of my High Street, lol :-))
The thing I dont like about christmas is that you spend it with the people you avoid the rest of the year just to keep the peace.
lol there on bogof at the moment but the royal mail will deliver it by March so maybe next year ehhh...lol
