I have reaaally bumpy skin on my arms, legs, and chest but particuarly my arms and chest. It doesn't affect my face. I moisturise pretty much every second day I'd say (hahah that rhythmes) and it doesn't help. It does make my skin seem softer but it doesn't get rid of the bumps so because the bumps are on top my skin isn't smooth and it looks really ugly too. It kind of looks like I need to exfoliate ALOT but I have tried this before and it really hurts so I haven't tested it enough to see if it would work but my skin goes red raw! How can I get smoooooth skin please?!

Sorry Soph .. Couldn't help it.
How about seeing a dermatologist? One at Wwk Hospital maybe?
You need to exfoliate twice a week and moisturise every day (morning and night). Use a really good moisturiser, not a cheapo one. Neutrogena do a good body lotion based on their Norwegian Formula hand cream. It has cleared my bumpy skin from my upper arms in around 2 weeks of use.

my sister has that. Zinc deficiency is a cause of this 'chicken skin' and dont exfoliate till ur red raw it'll only damage your skin-exfoliation only takes away light layers of skin not bumps.Removing dairy from your diet may also help. try zinc supplements first for a couple of months, if that doesnt do the trick try eliminating dairy products and use soya alternatives insead, see if that works. Use creams that are for sensitive skin, and dont use cheap products-this also helps. Try taking vit e supplements also. If everything fails including trip to your GP then laser treatment may help
