Been trying everywhere to get a blue metallic Dsi for my little boy but they just seem to be sold out everywhere. Any one know where i could purchase one, apart from Ebay?

That colour option has been discontinued apparently. Other than buying one second hand I don't think you'll be able to get one. Shame, it is a great colour.

Ive seen them on Amazon and one is 188 pounds and the other is 233, a little overpriced for me , i begrudge paying that when i know Game were selling them for 99 pounds.

I have been through what you are going through before when my boys wanted particular colours of DS- which I ended up ordering in form Japan! However, I have now realised that actually there is no disappointment if things aren't exactly the same as long as there is something else to compensate. When the boys upgraded ro DSis, there was a really good deal on Plain black or white. I got the plain ones and bought one of these type of cases:

Which makes the colour pretty irrelevant and also protects the DSi without being bulky or obtrusive.

My boys had the Star Wars and WWE covers, but there are also Sponge bob and Simpsons ones too.
