Anyone able to help me identify this annoying rash I've got and had all day.

It's mainly on my face, but now on my chest and my legs.

It's red patches with a blister type lump on some of them - they look just like insect bites but are definately not, and the redness is sometimes 40-50mm in diameter.

I had a fever last night and thought that it was an allergy to something I'd eaten but now I'm unsure.

I haven't eaten anything different, used any different perfumes etc. I'm not normally allergic to anything.

Anyone....please!!!!

It sounds like hives to me -- an allergic reaction to something you've eaten or come in contact with.  It can pop up at any time even if it's something you've eaten or been in contact with before.  Best to make an appointment with your doctor or dermatologist because those hives mean the presence of too much histamine and not to scare you, but if there is an excess of histamine in a large quanitity you could have breathing problems.  Good luck...
Have you had chicken pox?

Yes, I've had Chicken Pox. It's now getting much worse so I'll go to the Doctor tomorrow. I also have my fever back again - no fun :-(

Have taken some anti histamine tabs now too.

Thanks for your help guys - just needed to check I wasn't going to turn into an alien or something.

Let us know how you make out.  x

Spot on Litchick!

Hives it is/was (got up this morning and felt much better / less red / no fever). Doctor said 90% of the time there is no reason for it - the body randomly produces histamine. Doesn't have to be anything I've eaten or touched - but if it was, chances are next time maybe I wouldn't get any reaction.

Back in bed now, catch soon sleep and let my b/f give me some tlc!

Thanks all. x
