Can someone find out where you live and your mobile no. from your email address? reason I ask is the other day I posted a comment on line in the daily paper criticizing our [ Australia`s ] role in the war in Afghanistan. About 20 mins. later I got a call on my mobile from some guy saying he agreed with me and then started asking me my opinion on the war and terrorism. Am I paranoid or is this the men in black checking me out?

IMO it's more likely you've missed something in the 'smallprint' and inadvertantly given details to a third party during the signing up process. Another possibility is that you may have been 'phished'.

Did you ask the caller where he got your details ?
If not, assuming his number appeared on the screen of your mobile you could call him back and ask.

They can't tell your address or phone number from your email address, unless you have put your details somewhere on the internet.
