How very sad. That on top of the news I received this week that a colleague of mine also has terminal cancer (it's secondary in her bones). She sent out such a brave email to everyone I was in floods of tears.

i have always admired the fact that although she was such a global superstar she kept her private life private. She is a lady with a lot of dignity i hope people in the press continue to let her be private at this difficult time
