I want to create a photo album/gallery for my web site, without using frames & placing the album/gallery within an existing page style/layout. I can create it in HTML, but that would be more than 120 pages!!! So does anyone know of any decent software that can do this for me (preferable free or very low cost ' maybe an applet of some type)?

Not sure why you don't want to use frames. If you want to create a gallery type display where visitors can choose to view individual images you'd have to have some kind of thumbnail layout with each image loading into a [the same] frame.
If you want a bookflip type, that can be done with an applet (try anfyteam.com) but with 120 images you'd better make sure they are fairly small because it will take ages to load up.
Yes... Look at www.unblue.co.uk, click on Gallery and tell me if that's what you're after...

lisaj, That's not far off what I am after. I am currently using one version of a photo gallery (created with Photoshop Elements) shown in two ways. One is in frames (V1 - Not keen on frames although it works OK) and the other within it's own window (V2 - but works a bit to slow) http://www.galesjam.co.uk/galesjam_album.htm. That gallery you suggested looks much tidier script wise, and seems to load nice and quick!
www.unblue.co.uk use PHP i'm guessing their gallery uses switch statements depending on which images the user wants to load. You won't be able to do anything similar using only one HTML page i'm afraid.
Meta: That gallery is hosted on an ADSL line and it's still quick? That's nice to know... HTML and frames are out of the question is you've got more that 50 or so images. It's very easy to implement a PHP gallery, and some general purpose solutions do exist, but they are PHP based. It really comes down to what functionality you have with you hosting space -> the unblue one is built on PHP and SQL because eventually it's going to have somewhere in the region of 4,500 images in it (my entire image library).
