See if the step-by-step link at the bottom is useful, Gennifer. You don't mention your editing software, but I tend to plug Irfanview whenever anyone has problems with re-sizing, as it saved my sanity - it's also free. http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Search/Question39367-9.asp?Pa ge=1&SearchText=re-sizing%20photos
Don't just use the zoom facility as this doesn't actualy change the size of the original image. In my prog (PaintShop Pro) I use "Image : Resize". If in doubt, open your own software and type "resize" into the help box. Or tell us which software you're using. Also, you may want to save the smaller image as a separate file so that you still have the original. Is this plain English? I bet it's not even though it seems to make sense to me!

It's not a program or camera that I'm familiar with but I've had a Google, and found your program with re-sizing instructions. http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=cache:9M7rxX5vNYUJ:teachopo lis.org/photostudio/Using%2520Ulead%2520Photo%2520Express%25 204.ppt+ulead+photo+express+4.0+%2B+resizing&hl=en
