I had an oil filled radiator explode in January inmy then 8 month old daughters room at 11pm when she was sleeping, just missing her by millimetres, have been battling with Argos since then. They have sorted out her room but am still trying to find out what the oil was and also to get them to take the whole matter more serious.I have now had to arrange for my own chemical analysis to be done. has any one else has simular problems, and how did you get on?

The manufacturers must have a copy of the contents of the oil in their annual risk assessment file. This can be looked at by the Health and Safety executive when they do their annual audit, you can contact them for advice about it. Have you not contacted an Accident Claim solicitor? I would.
..if they are messing you around, tell them you are giving the Sun or Mirror a call....

Thanks dot.hawkes, but unfortunately manufacturer is in China, so not sure if same rules apply. But will look into an accident claim solicitor.Had hoped to hear from any one who had this happen to them, as this problem was quite widespread with this make of radiators purchased from Argos and did see some people had posted q&a back in november and december, wondered how they had got on with theirs claims and such like
