Does anyone know how to send a text message from my English mobile to a friends American - to English you just get rid of the 0, and +44 to the beginning instead, but Amrican mobile begins 808 - /// - //// Anybody know??

If you're asking about phoning the US from the UK, then just put + 1 infront of the number

Dialling 001 then the number works for voice calls to US mobiles from UK, but I've never got it to work for text messages. Not sure why.

You can use 001 or +1 in front of the number. Now be a good lad and put your own answer into your same question in all the other categories. Happy txting.
