Best toastie/panini/etc

My husband has just come home with a sandwich press (amongst other electical items!). In order to stop the kids from requesting cheese and ham all the time I was wondering what your favourite toastie/panini fillings are and what sort of bread you like to use. Thanks.

HI Welsh - he claims it was about £20 (but it was probably more). Looks pretty gadgety so I will have a proper look at it tomorrow.

Banana toasties - yum! Sherrard, if you're getting a new bread machine there'll probably be recipes in with it, I know mine had quite a few.

Hi Box - she had a scarf on earlier and (apparently) puts up a brolly when it's going to rain. We'll probably have to wait a couple of months to see if she starts taking her clothes off.

As above...sliced banana with a sprinkling of cinnamon and brown sugar. Be careful though, they get very hot.
