My cat has a poorly paw.

He's not long come downstairs and is walking on three legs. OH said he was fine this morning so I'm presuming he's hurt himself in the house.

Vets in the morning...wonder how much that will cost?

Will do Sqad...thanks ;-)

He managed a proper scrap with Ginger so it's just a weight baring issue...

Hope he is ok, ummmm x
If it`s a ligamentous strain, doesn`t that make it a sprain?

For a sprain.....I only charge 50 pounds, but for a ligamentous strain it is 100 pounds ;-)
There speaks a man of substance - hahaha - and a private villa in Menorca.....
if its any consolation Harvey Pickles had a similar thing.. took him to the vets - coughed up the money - he got an anti-inflam injection and was fine.
Vet said he probably sprained it slightly by jumping or landing awkwardly.
Next day he was fine!

Does Brian put his paw down if he is sitting ???
He's probably just twisted it!!
Question Author
He doesn't put his paw down but he's attacking the internet wires with both paws as speak...

He also attacked OH with both paws (he always attacks him when he comes home from work)
My pussy cat went to the vets a couple of months back because he was sneezing all over the place and was off his food. He was none to keen where the vet stuck his
thermometer! After a week of antibiotics and vitamins he soon picked up. It was
expensive but he is worth it. I hope your cat recovers from his sore paw soon.
Question Author
He will hopefully.

I'll do what Sqad says and take him Saturday....

Question Author
I've only just woke up fluff :-) He's probably out. He usually goes out when Ginge goes to work..

I'm not as worried now....he was play fighting with OH using both paws. He just wouldn't put weight on it.
Question Author
He's back. He's limping a bit but he's using it...
