Hello All, I've just left the company i've been working for as a portrait photographer to be a full time Mum. I'm now going to become a part time freelance photographer too!! Any advice and tips for success! Whats the standard procedure? I have my own lights & backdrops but as yet no laptop.

I think setting up a website with examples of your work would be a must - there are loads of web designers around who can design and host quite cheaply. Also advertise in yellow/white pages. Get some cards printed - i use goodprint.co.uk.
Then hopefuly when people are aware you should get some commissions.
Good luck
My friend according to me you should first try to find out what are the expectation of the company or the owner from a freelance photographer. you can follow this link http://www.tictacdo.c...ityTemplate15gt5e7fkq
This link will help you to know what all things are considered by a company before appointing a freelance photographer and this also let you know what all areas you need to work on for becoming a good freelance photographer.
