We've had one at home already. Mine don't go in the post until next week (apart from the overseas ones, which I'll mail on Saturday).
Posting mine tomorrow but that's because I moved this year so have to be stickers with my new address on them.
Got one from a friend in Florida last week. Apart from cards to abroad it's way too early.
I post my overseas ones around the 10th if that is not too late.

Then post the rest a week later.

I have only brought one packet of 12 so far! I just can't seem to motivate myself.

Good - not just me then
Posting abroad is okay. The rest of the UK should realise it is still only November for Gods sake. As soon as Christmas is over it will be Easter Eggs.
I will have to buy some quite a few have to be posted, I think we have until 21 Dec to post them. so I'll probably send mine off around the 10th.
I'm writing a list as we speak, so that i don't forget anyone, and I have a few cards left over from last year i'll use up before buying some more.
molly, I've got a list I use every year, I would forget people without it - God bless the Excel spreadsheet!
Boxtops we have a list which we use every year, and most of the people on it are people we haven't seen for years and only send to at Xmas. Why do we do it?
No wonder I am panicking!
Emerald, I agree. I haven't seen some of them for about 20 years but I still keep on sending them cards.
I don't personally send cards to anyone but I will have to write the cards for the 6 year old and 5 year old (I don't have the time/patience to supervise them doing it themselves) but the 10 year old can do his own this year. (Better get to Aldi quickly and get 90 cheap cards!)
What about those newsletters you get from long-lost relatives : 4 pages of details of everthing they have done for the last year , with pictures ,sent to everyone on their Xmas card list - BOOOORING.
emerald, I do agree - I still send a card to my late mother's cleaning lady. I guess it's keeping in touch with past events.... we do send a short annual letter, but not to everyone, generally only to people who send one to us!
I've sent mines out last week to get over with that.
