The people watching giant plasma screens get more for their money than people like me who only have a portable. Why shouldn't I pay less?

Starbuckone:
A home TV licence covers you for watching TV on your mobile phone. If you'd not got a TV licence at all you could only legally watch TV programmes which weren't being transmitted and received at the same time. (i.e. you could watch recorded programmes, from the BBC iPlayer or Youtube for example, but you couldn't watch programmes as they were actually being broadcast).
