I am 39 years old, and for all of my life i have been allergic to eggs. If i eat anything with eggs in i am violently sick.

Why is this?

I can eat cheese, drink milk, eat yoghurt, etc, etc., but never anything to do with eggs. I can't even touch one as I get a rash and the smell of cooking eggs is vile.

Every time something made with eggs enters the digestive system of a person with an egg allergy, certain white blood cells in that person's blood produce immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies. These antibodies are programmed to fight off the invader, in this case eggs, and this fight is what causes an allergic reaction. Most people are allergic to protein in the whites of eggs, but some react to the yolk. (Source: Kid's Health)
Plus, eggs are a completely different product to milk and its derivatives.  Just cos they are animal products doesn't mean they will all produce the same reaction!
eggs come form birds, milk comes from cows. So - different types of creature - so different types of reaction. For you, eggs bad, milk good. OK?
Its the white of the egg " Albumen" futsy. My daughter is the same as you.
