Has anyone here ever had their delivery made at the beginning of the delivery slot, or are you all like me and it always arrives at the end (if at all!)?

Expecting the kids trampoline to be delivered today - hoping it's going to fit in the garage - have cleared a space ready, so that we can hide it until Christmas. It could arrive anytime between 8.30 and 5.00 today. My lovely neighbour has waited in for it so far and I am home now. Kids are due home at 3.15 so what's the chance that it will turn up before they get back? My guess would be that it will either be getting brought out of the van as they arrive home or it will arrive while they are in the house.

Can't complain as it is not late, it would just be good if these things worked out once in a while!!

oh no. what a waste of a day

i once bought a fridge and was told delivery hours were 8-5 but that it would be pm as we were furthest from depot in london, we were in norfolk.

7.15am they woke us up hammering on door, it was still dark outside!

I bet you got the fright of your life!!

Tesco were very helpful but as the delivery was coming from the supplier, they weren't able to give me any more details until their office is open in the morning. They did refund my £5 delivery though - who knows when I'll get it now. Maybe won't have a problem storing it until Christmas as it won't be here for Christmas!!
