As the wedding is on Friday 29th April there will be a bank holiday on the following Monday - Hurray

Sky News have just announced that (Royal Wedding Day) will be a Bank Holiday meaning Friday April 29th will be followed by May Day Bank Holiday on the 2nd. So two weeks of 4-day working.

yes!! back from hols on the tuesday, weds and thurs at work and then 4 days off :)

What I have done is taken the 3 days as leave and got 11 days off ...
So My leave starts on the
22nd for Good Friday
Weekend
Easter Monday 25th April
Thee days leave - Tue/Wed/Thu
Royal Wedding bank holiday - Friday 29th
Weekend
Mayday holiday 2nd May

Back to work for 4 day week on the Tuesday

Then a few weeks and we have spring bank holiday ...whoop whoop

The economy is bust anyway. So what the hell ....
Look at the mess we are in with Ireland.
One of our biggest trading partners and owes RBS £50 Billion in loans ...if the Irish start to default on those , as they will , RBS will be in bother ...now who owns RBS ?
oh that will be us the British taxpayer ...we should have never got into the business of owning banks and bailing them out. It's the HIGH stakes table we are playing at and we had no choice but to take a seat at it.
