Internet Exploror freezing

I`ve got Windows Vista with Internet Explorer. It keeps non-responding. I haven`t done anything different lately and have done a full system scan. Sometimes I get the non-responding message and sometimes I can`t do anything at all. The only way I can get it off the screen is to log off. Any ideas what causes this please?

My IE8 freezes after a couple of minutes every time I come to answerbank. Not problem with other sites. I used Firefox for AB now and that combination doesn't seem to cause trouble.
